Wired Magazine’s Epicenter published an article last week on making money from musical content uploaded to YouTube. YouTube creates a fingerprint of each of your tracks. When new videos are uploaded by users, it will detect if fingerprinted music is used, and reward the content owner. This way, content owners can make money from authorized and unauthorized uploads.
