Global Media Vault is a UK based company which provides a digital entertainment platform with a large database containing over 3 million music, film and game resources. Worldwide customers are able to search, buy and distribute everything online using mobile devices, television and kiosk software. Most recently Sainsbury, the British supermarket chain, has acquired the digital platform and are currently providing users the opportunity to buy and rent media directly. They hope in the near future to broaden their services by providing streaming features. Their goal is easy, they want to: “deliver any content, in any format, to any device”.

In collaboration with ‘The Amsterdam Fellows‘ we’ll be joining them at South by South West (SXSW) an interactive film and music conference held in Austin, Texas.

The Amsterdam Fellows (TAF) is an organization which has created a network for start-up companies in the Netherlands. TAF organizes events to help connect their members with business opportunities and ventures globally.
From the 9th – 12th of March alongside TAF, we’ll be hosting a happy hour each evening from 5- 7 p.m.

On the 9th of March, an opening party will be held to welcome all our guests from 10 p.m.-2 a.m.. The theme for this evening has been cleverly thought out and named ‘Ketchup or Mayonnaise: if it ain’t much it ain’t Dutch‘.
Our closing party will be hosted on the 12th of March from 10 p.m.-2 a.m., to kick off the music conference week, with another theme called ‘The finishing Dutch: it’s the final countdown‘. There will also be a special live preformance by Out Side Room courtesy of Toolroom publishing.

We recently returned from Midem in beautiful Cannes.  Although we hardly saw the sun this year,  we still enjoyed ourselves and had an amazing Midem!

Our CEO, Martijn Tjho participated in a round table discussion sharing the exciting news of  FUGA services recently added to our current product portfolio: IIP-DDS, HD Audio and Cross-Licensing.

We also announced our newest venture with NextWidgets in the development of a Facebook app, which will be available on the artists’ page, allowing them to share their music with the public via FUGA.

In addition to these exciting new FUGA developments, we combined our FUGA style with two mini cooper countrymans and offered a free hop on-hop off shuttle service to Midem attendees, who were trying to stay dry while moving to and from the music conference.  At night, the FUGA mini’s drove our party guests from the Carlton and the Palais des Festivals to our private villa parties two nights in a row.  Each night, guests were privy to a delicious buffet dinner prepared by Martijn Tjho himself, and a private performance given by up and coming Artist KOF, courtesy of Boarder Blaster Music.

A special thanks to all our guests for helping us make our parties such a blast, we couldn’t keep the French police off our doorstep.

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for an even better Midem, although this one will definitely be hard to beat…but we’ll sure try!

car shuttle service to make it easier for YOU to get from one end of La Croisette
to the other, and in between.
(Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am- 1.30am  and Monday from 11am – 9pm)

A complimentary FREE car shuttle service from the Carlton and the Palais des
Festivals to our villa starting from 7pm both on the 28th and 29th of January. (This service is reserved solely for invited guests)
